Emmanuel Waldron

Emmanuel Waldron is an award-winning pianist who has played for Her Majesty The Queen & HRH The Duke Of Edinburgh, HRH The Prince Of Wales (who personally commended Emmanuel) & the Duchess Of Cornwall, the London Mayor, the Queen Of Jordan and other global dignitaries. He also played for the Pope on his UK state visit in 2010!

It was at the age of just 6 that Emmanuel’s musical journey began when, through private tuition he was introduced to classical music. Over the next 8 years, he’d developed a wealth of understanding in music genres such as Classical, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, R’n’B,  Soul and Folk music. He also discovered he had perfect pitch, and with frequent opportunities in his local church and other venues, developed in his ability to play the keyboard and piano (solo) in public.

Emmanuel has worked with a wealth of artists and bands. This enabled him to experiment & develop his improvisation and spontaneity, producing the flair and diversity that have become his hallmark.

Having worked with the likes of Ronan Keating, David & Carrie Grant, Ruby Turner, Doris Troy, London Community Gospel Choir, Steve Brookstein (world’s 1st X-Factor winner), Kenny Thomas, Ola Onabule, Kamelia Todorova and many other artists, Emmanuel has established himself especially in Gospel and Jazz music nationally and internationally.

Emmanuel had the pleasure of performing impromptu on stage with the late George Duke at the Jazz Cafe, London and also with jazz great Don Grusin in London too. His music has taken him to countries such as Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dubai (at world’s only 7* hotel), France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Jersey, Jordan (for the royal family), Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and the USA.

Emmanuel is currently working on his fifth album ‘Chaordicism’ (Kay-Ord-Ik-Izm) which is due for release this coming spring..

Having previously released four albums gives credit to Emmanuel as a producer. His last recording ‘All Seasons’ (2013) is a classy, soulful jazz album which was recorded live. This followed the release of his third album ‘Everything U Are’ (2011), a smooth soulful combination of instrumental tracks and vocal features.

Emmanuel also has two solo piano albums to his name. ‘Portrait of a Journey’ (2000) and ‘Still Waters’ (2009). Both albums were recorded spontaneously. His albums are available from this website and most top digital stores.

In 2002/03 Emmanuel produced the GEM award winning album ‘Lifter of My Head’ from talented songwriter & artist – Brian Martin and has been involved in a number of recording projects in the UK and internationally, even for Bollywood!

Having featured in theatre productions, Emmanuel had the opportunity to be music director for the musical ‘Simply Heavenly’, which won several awards and was nominated for ‘Outstanding Musical’ at the Laurence Olivier Awards in 2005. Emmanuel was also the pianist at the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre for the hit show ‘The Frontline’ in 2008 and again in 2009.

Emmanuel has set up a music school in Norway (where he is currently based) called SKALA (meaning ‘Scales’ in Norwegian). There he teaches and conducts piano/keyboard and band workshops from beginners to advanced musicians. He also performs his own concerts in Norway, the UK and internationally
